Tourist Office Map

Galway is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Ireland. Visitors contribute a lot to the life of the city and are welcomed by Galwegians for doing so.

Visitors come to our shows, support our festivals, encourage our street artists and add a cosmopolitan feel to a wonderful city.

Galway returns the favours bestowed on it by visitors by making it easy to access information about the city, what's happening and where it's happening.

The tourist office recently moved and is now located in the Fair Green near the bus/rail station (see map).

A free newspaper which contains details of whats happening in the city The Galway Advertiser comes onto the streets every Thursday and its worth picking up a copy partcularly for up to the minute details about entertainment.
