Clifden, the capital of Connemara.
Founded in the early 19th century by local landlord and sherrif John D'arcy,
today Clifden is a lively spot with excellent restaurants and many sociable
pubs.
The menu at the D'Arcy Inn boasts an extensive selection of seafood dishes.
Specials include lobster, duck and the delicious seafood platter. Open
winter and summer, the D'Arcy Inn offers full bar facilities and party
bookings are always welcomed.
