Lady Gregory - a Celebration
Lady Augusta Gregory

Lady Augusta Gregory

Galway Arts Centre. Lady Augusta Gregory was born on 15 March, 150 years ago. This celebration of the great Patroness of the Arts and key Galway figure evokes her pioneering spirit, with young artists who interpret her heritage, as well as showcase and celebrate artifacts from her life that have become part of the vernacular in Irish life. Portraits of those who featured in Lady Gregory's life such as Yeats, Synge, AE and others will also be included in this birthday exhibition. Opening Friday 15 March, 6pm.
