Squash

Squash is one of those games where you can channel all your enthuasiasm, energy and skill into the game and against the ball.

Its a fast exciting skilful game which will develop reflexes as much as muscles. In Ireland its played as a winter sport and is a great game to get your blood pumping on a cool winters evening.

You need a racquet and a ball and partner- Someone around your own level of skill is obviously best.

Conditions of playing depends on the club you play in. Many of them are user-friendly.

Galway is well served by squash clubs and there are introductory nights during the Autumn months to encourage people to take up the sport.

The following have squash facilities.
