*Entertainment Guide

There is a strong arts, culture and music tradition which appeals to both the young and old. Galway is currently seen as Ireland's centre of entertainment and even a short visit to the city will bear this out. Every taste and entertainment need is catered for with everything from ballroom dancing to plays to art exhibitions.

There is a huge choice of entertainment on offer and it is geared not only towards tourists, but also the local and the 7,000 strong student population. The younger population in the city is reflected in the entertainment provided.
