Sailing
Even if you're not a fan of sailing there are few sights as beautiful in Galway as a summers evening when sailors take out their boats for a run in the evening sun across Galway Bay. Who knows - you might even be welcomed aboard. |
There's nothing like sailing or windsurfing to make you feel alive. Sailing was the means by which men discovered the world. Today we still sail not to discover new countries but to pitch ourselves against the power of the waves. Sailing is now a popular hobby for many people. Galway is famous for its Bay throughout the world.
