AutamataNow established as one of Ireland's up and coming artist/producers, Ken McHugh (aka Autamata) has just released a widely praised debut album "My Sanctuary". Fragments from the album are currently being used on a new Mitsubishi TV car advert all over the U.S., Canada and Mexico and "Jive County" is also being used in a new American film called "Standing Still" which stars Colin Hanks (son of Tom). A live band featuring drums, bass, guitar and female vocals as well as Ken's own synths, samplers and background visuals has already made a powerful impact on the Dublin club scene. Better known as Vursatyl and Jumbo the Garbageman, they are among the forefront of "real" hip hop in the US. Since then the quartet has become one of the most celebrated young string quartets performing today. The first full-time professional music residency in the West of Ireland, the Con Tempo Quartet have toured the world extensively and have been awarded numerous international prizes. They recently recorded the Adagio from Beethoven's Opus 131 for the television drama Band of Brothers, produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks.
