Galway Races - Summer Festival (25 - 31 July)The Galway Races has become the greatest of all Irish Racing Festivals and probably the most lavish, colourful and sociable fixtures in the Irish Racing World. It is not only a great sporting event, but also a unique social occasion filled with atmosphere, passion and craic, and attracts both the true racegoer and socialites alike. O'Carolan Harp & Traditional Music Festival (26 - 30 July)The O'Carolan Harp & Traditional Music Festival takes place in Keadue each summer - Ireland's Tidiest Town. This three-day international event commences with a static display of vintage and classic cars at the Spanish Arch in Galway on the Friday from 14.00-18.00, followed by a pre-rally reception in the Corrib Great Southern Hotel at 21.00.
