Macnas have been at the forefront of street spectacle and performance in Ireland for the past 20 years.

Having discovered an ancient map containing details of a place that up until now was assumed to be mythical, intrepid Macnas explorers embark on a historic expedition to find Áit Ait...

Featuring a cast of up to 500 performers, teams of drummers, dancers and special effects.

The Macnas Festival Parade is supported by The Arts Council and Galway City Council.
