Leisureland

Salthill Galway

phone: +353 91 521455

Leisureland as the name suggests is an all in one sports and entertainments centre situated on the seafront on the Salthill prom. An invaluable holiday resource for the whole family, be it hail, rain or shine, Leisureland offers swimming facilities, outdoor amusements, such as a playground, slides ("The Helter Skelter!), miniature train rides, bumper cars, the big wheel, crazy golf, its newest attraction "Inflatable City" (open during Holiday Periods) which gives hours of Bounce 'n' Fun for 3 to 12 year olds, and much more.

There is also a catering area and a viewing area overlooking the pool. Also functions as a conference and concert venue. Leisureland opens seven days a week with special group rates.

The family friendly pool at Leisureland is specially designed to please all members of the family from toddler to adult to people with disabilities. The Treasure cove section includes a beach pool, pirate ships, water cannons, serpent and bubble pool. Try the thrilling 65m Waterslide; have fun on the Pirate Ship "Misty Dawn"; enjoy the new interactive water features in the Leisure Pool. An Inflatable Fun Run is operated in the main pool on certain days.

There's also the learner pool specially for tots taking their first tentative plunge. Next is the 25 metre pool, with an adjustable floor to suit toddlers, adults and wheelchair users as the wheelchairs can be wheeled into the pool. Taught swimming sessions are available for schools, clubs and the disabled. Our three swimming pools are open all year round.

Leisureland also has a Poolside Restaurant and Shops.

Entertainments: Mostly video and car machines on offer here as well as a few gaming machines. It's situated right beside the pool, the concert hall, the cafe and Perk's Funfair, so it's the perfect pitstop if you fancy getting out of the sun.

Music Venue:This is one of the largest venues in Galway at the moment with seating for 1,000. It has hosted many large, world famous orchestras including the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra.
