Galway is currently seen as Ireland's centre of entertainment and even a short visit to the city will bear this out. Every taste and entertainment need is catered for with everything from ballroom dancing to plays to art exhibitions. There is a huge choice of entertainment on offer and it is geared not only towards tourists, but also the local and the 7,000 strong student population.
