Dominick StreetMaureen O' Hara and John Wayne bought their Irish tweeds and knitwear in O'Maille's of Dominick, evidence indeed of the shops claim that it only stocks the best traditional design clothing. At the corner of Dominick Street, is The Bridge Mill, a converted mill which now houses a number of shops, coffeeshop winebar and art gallery. On the ground floor is "Celtic Impressions" which sells Celtic design jewellery made up of silver plated inlay on brass. The Salmon Bookshop specialises in literary books for example, an autographed poetry book by a Galway writer. Unique hand - crafted furniture are the main goods sold in "Classics in Time". Works of art are exhibited at resonable prices in The Geoghan Gallery.
