The Galway Early Music Festival: A Book of Hours
16th - 19th May
-
The Galway Early Music Festival "A Book of Hours" takes its inspiration from
the miniatures found in medieval books of hours that portray the rhythms of
medieval life: hunting, feasting, sowing, reaping, celebrating and praying.
The festival presents concerts and workshops by internationally acclaimed
medieval, renaissance and baroque ensembles as well as a colourful
celebration of Galway's medieval heritage on the streets.
